## Project meaning

Quack is the canonical company archive for the Quack.com story inside the shared `public` repo.

It owns:

- Quack-specific sources
- company-specific interpretation
- preserved artifacts and local captures
- research campaigns and follow-up planning

It does not own top-level Steven biography or cross-company hub interpretation.

## Current archive state

Confirmed machine-readable baseline:

Confirmed local preservation baseline:

- `5` source records currently resolve to checked-in local archive files
- `3` of those local archive paths belong to approved sources

## Portability assessment

Quack is now meaningfully restartable from the canonical `Projects-All/public` workspace.

That is because the archive already had:

- checked-in manifests
- checked-in research outputs
- checked-in artifact files
- a public summary page and project card source

This stabilization pass adds the missing continuity and validator layer so future Quack work does not depend on rediscovering the intended workspace or manually inferring what the current baseline was.

## Remaining risk

The main remaining risk is not workspace ambiguity. It is evidence completeness:

- several approved or promising Quack sources still rely on canonical live URLs
- the first-party AOL by Phone and AOL Anywhere lane is still under-preserved
- investor outcomes and financing still need stronger preserved sourcing

## Practical verdict

Quack is now `continuity-safe and restartable` inside the canonical shared-public workspace, but it is not yet `fully self-contained and exact-evidence complete`.

The next sensible Quack pass is a preservation-focused one, not another continuity rebuild.
