READ THIS!! EE150 Academic Guidelines Cheating or plagarism is a serious academic offense. It can lead very quickly to a failed grade and permanent record on your transcript, or even expulsion from University. Acceptable Help: Discussing approaches to problems is acceptable. Seeking tutor or student assistance with concepts is acceptable. I have office hours to help with your problems - I also am open to making an appointment to discuss anything at all. Not-Acceptable Help: Having a tutor debug your code is not acceptable. Having another student debug your code is not acceptable. Sharing code is not acceptable in any form. Showing your solutions to others in EE150 is not acceptable. During the course of reviewing solutions to Assignment (mini) 3 it has become obvious that sharing of code (exact code) has already become a problem. As assignments increase in complexity and difficulty such cheating will become even more obvious. After the midterm I will have an excellent idea of each students' ability and fudged assignments will stand out. In a word - don't cheat - I will *not* be in any way lenient with anyone caught cheating or sharing solutions to assignments. It is unfair to those students who do not cheat to tolerate any such behaviour. September 28, 1996 Dr. Steven Woods
